MHS Ford GT / GT500 Stage 1 Cylinder Head Package
We start by disassembling the heads, thoroughly inspecting them for any possible damage, removing all oil galley plugs and freeze plugs, removing the old valve guides, deep cleaning them and bead blasting the ports and chambers to remove any additional carbon deposits. The heads are then bowl ported, smoothing out the transition from both the roof and short side to the valve seats. After that we install our custom length, performance tapered Manganese Bronze Valve Guides and size them with a Diamond hone. We then perform our Performance Valve Job (4 Angle Intake, 3 Angle / Radius Exhaust). Stock Valves are reground, stems polished and Intake Valve back-cut for additional flow. The Heads are then surfaced on our CBN / PCD surfacer and assembled with our Viton Valve Stem Seals, MHS / PAC Stage 3 RPM Series Valve Springs and 4130 Chrome Moly Retainers. Heads are finished up with all new USA made Brass Freeze Plugs and New Oil Gallery Plugs.
