Crankcase pressure is vented back into your intake and oil vapors are included in that. The J&L oil separator will collect this vapor, and allow it to collect back into a liquid and be caught into the collection can. In a supercharged or turbocharged application, the amount of oil in the crankcase is exaggerated and this becomes even more of a necessity. 3oz of oil capacity should allow you to not have to worry about emptying it for another 2000-3000 miles.
