MHS / Wiseco 5.8L GT500 Competition Piston and Ring Kit -13cc Dish, 3.650" Bore

This custom MHS /Wiseco Piston and Ring Kit is designed for competition use and capable of relabiably holding 2500+ HP and 45+ lbs of boost. These Pistons have many subtle upgrades and details that make them just plain work!

Why 3.650" Bore? Its a good bore to start with. You get all the airflow benefits of a larger bore (approx .100" larger than the stock 5.4L) but with plenty of material left for future rebuilds. 

Why 10.5:1 Compression? It's a good compression ratio for high boost pressures. There is no need to go any higher, just to have to pull more timing. We have had extremely good success in the 10.0:1 - 10.5:1 Compression range on both Ethanol based fuels and Methanol.
